PMEF Arts Scholarship Summaries 2026

Abram & Dorothy Sangrey Memorial Scholarship
$1,750 scholarship for senior boys or girls who are active in their faith communities. Students who plan college-level study in music, religion, or social justice will be given preference. Financial needs will be considered. Acceptance to a four-year school is preferred but not required.

Christine A. Weidinger Memorial Scholarship
$500 award for female planning to major in the field of Family and Consumer Science or a related field (food service, food preparation or textile related crafts).

Craig S. Shyver Memorial Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship is for a student planning to pursue a four-year degree in the music field. Selection will be made by the high school music department.

Harold “Skip” & Dora Rhodes Memorial Scholarship
$500 scholarship for a student majoring in Music or Healthcare fields. Preference given to those entering the Pharmacy field. Winner will be selected by the Music staff if applicable.

James D. Harne Memorial Scholarship
$500 scholarship is for a student planning to pursue a four year degree as either an English major or library science or related field. Preference will be given to students known for their sense of humor and willingness to take creative risks. Selection will be made with input from the high school staff.

Mario-Angelo Russo Memorial Scholarship
$500 award for student pursuing a career in music or media production or a related field; financial need is considered.

Nick and Marnice Charles Scholarship
This $650 scholarship is for a student who has benefited from four years in a high school music ensemble but is planning a career in another field. Selection by high school music staff.

Olga P. & Spencer Harvie Memorial Scholarship
$1,500 award for student dedicated to the Penn Manor theater program who is interested in pursuing a career in theater performance, theater technology or a related field; financial need is considered.

Shellenberger-Hosler Scholarship
$500 award for a student pursuing a career in library science or closely related field such as education or communications.

 

PMEF Business Scholarship Summaries 2026

Donald Pollock Scholarship
$5,000 scholarship for student pursuing a career in math-oriented field, preference given to business/accounting major or those seeking a teaching career in math; strong academic success and community contribution; financial need is considered.

Michael Hnat Memorial Scholarship
$500 award for student planning to pursue business administration or related field in a two- or four-year program; financial need considered, and priority given to applicants from single-parent families and/or first in family to attend college.

Millersville Business Association Scholarship
$500 award for students attending Millersville University with an interest in business or related field; demonstrates academic success, contribution to community and financial need.

Willis and Martha Herr Family Scholarship
$500 award for a student majoring in agriculture or business, with consideration given to church/community involvement and leadership qualities.

 

PMEF Education Scholarship Summaries 2026

Betty Doan Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 award for student who is interested in pursuing a career in health care or education and has had to overcome some significant challenges in his/her life.

Collier Family Scholarship
$1,000 award for a student who is interested in pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education.

Dave Ober Scholarship
$1,000 award will be given to a student majoring in the field of social studies. Priority will be given to psychology majors, and financial need will be considered.

Donald Pollock Scholarship
$5,000 scholarship for student pursuing a career in math-oriented field, preference given to business/accounting major or those seeking a teaching career in math; strong academic success and community contribution; financial need is considered.

Dr. Perry Love Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 scholarship for a student majoring in education and attending Millersville University.

Edgar Funk Memorial Scholarship
$500 award for a Career & Technology Center graduate pursuing a trade or internship, apprenticeship or a student pursuing a career in teaching or nursing.

Frerichs Family Education Scholarship
$1,250 award for a student pursuing a career in education. Preference will be given to students planning to attend Millersville University.

Harry Frey Scholarship
#1,000 award for a deserving senior who is planning to major in health and physical education in college.

James D. Harne Memorial Scholarship
This $500 scholarship is for a student planning to pursue a four-year degree as either an English major or library science or related field. Preference will be given to students known for their sense of humor and willingness to take creative risks. Selection will be made with input from the high school staff.

Jere R. Hoin Memorial Scholarship
This is a $1,000 scholarship for a student pursuing a career in elementary education. Must demonstrate strong academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular activities.

Luella Mellinger Scholarship
Funded by the Penn Manor Alumni Association, this $1,000 award is for a student demonstrating academic merit who intends to further his/her education with the goal of a teaching career.

Richard “Hibby” Hibshman Scholarship
$1,000 award for a student pursuing a career in education. Emphasis on community involvement. Preference given to a wrestler.

Shellenberger-Hosler Scholarship
$500 award for student pursuing career in library science or closely related field, such as education or communications.

William “Bill” Fisher Memorial Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in the field of Journalism. Preference will be given to students pursuing Sports Journalism.

Willis & Martha Herr Family Scholarship
$500 award for a student majoring in agriculture or business, with consideration given to church/community involvement and leadership qualities.

Betty Doan Memorial Scholarship

Bree Taryn Caffey Memorial Scholarship
This $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a degree in nursing. Preference given to students attending a four-year nursing/healthcare college.

Dorothy Dart Milliman Scholarship
$2,000 award for student planning to pursue a career in nursing or related health care field; demonstrates academic success, contribution to community and financial need.

Edgar Funk Memorial Scholarship
$500 award for a Career & Technology Center graduate or to a student pursuing a  trade or internship, apprenticeship or a student pursuing a career in teaching or nursing.

Karen Shenk Scholarship
$1,000 award for student pursuing a career in health/human services.  The student must be interested in pursuing a career in the field at a four-year college or a two-year associate degree program.  The individual must have a genuine commitment to community service and a strong academic history.

Linda Jo Newswanger Mylin Memorial Scholarship
$1,500 scholarship for candidates continuing their education at a 2-4 year college pursuing a career in the medical field; such as physician, nurse, or other healthcare career field.

Marian B. Davis Memorial Scholarship
$500 award for student planning to attend a 2 or 4 year nursing program; financial need considered, and priority given to applicants from single-parent families and/or first in family to attend college.

Norma Lois Herr Memorial Scholarship
$1,250 award for a student who intends to major in nursing or a related field.  Must be planning to attend a two- or four-year college or other certification program.  The student should have a strong academic history and be able to demonstrate a commitment to community service.

Patricia A. Texter Scholarship
$500 award for student pursuing a health care-related field, preferably nursing; priority given to student seeking registered nurse certification; demonstrated academic success, commitment to community service and financial need.

Mrs. Abner Houseknecht Memorial Scholarship
$2,500 awards for female students who demonstrate academic achievement and financial need or experience adversity.

 

PMEF Open Leadership Scholarship Summaries 2026

Captain Ed Davis Memorial Award
$750 scholarship given to a student with exceptional academic record who demonstrates leadership and appreciation of freedom.  A winner will be selected by high school staff. 

Hans H. Haverstick Memorial Scholarship
$500 scholarship given to a soccer player who exhibits the qualities of scholarship, athleticism, and sportsmanship. Selected by soccer coaching staff.

Megan Lynn Martin Memorial Scholarship
$500 award for a student who has overcome adversity and made a positive impact by helping others. Priority will be given to applicants with an interest in music and students who attended LeTort Elementary School.

Marsha Gullo Frerichs Scholarship
In memory of Coach Frerichs, $1,000 scholarships awarded to male and female golfers who display the qualities of team first and sportsmanship. Selected by golf coach.

Molly Curtis Memorial Scholarship
$1,250 scholarship awarded for devotion and enthusiasm to Penn Manor youth and varsity softball. Selected by softball coaching staff.

Penn Manor Class of 2018 Scholarship
This $500 award is for student based on their contributions to the Penn Manor community.

Penn Manor Class of 2023 Scholarship
Two $500 awards for one male and one female in good academic standing and committed to the Penn Manor community.

Rachel E. Miller Memorial Scholarship
$750 per year for up to four years for a student demonstrating a high level of achievement in both academics and athletics.

Rankin & Gregory LLC Scholarship
$2,500 award for a student planning to continue his/her education in any field. Selection based on academic success, recommendations, and essay.

Starrett Robert Metzler Memorial Scholarship
Two $1,250 awards for a male and a female graduating senior interested in pursuing post-secondary education and who exemplify “team before self.” Demonstration of academic success, PM pride, and genuine commitment to school and community; financial need considered.

 

PMEF Open Service/Community Scholarship Summaries 2026

Aument Family Scholarship
$1,000 award for student who has demonstrated academic success, service to school and community, financial need to be considered.

Captain Ed Davis Memorial Award
$750 scholarship given to a student with exceptional academic record who demonstrates leadership and appreciation of freedom. A winner will be selected by high school staff.

David L. Murray Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 award in memory of Dave Murray. Selection is based on work ethic, community service and involvement in extracurricular activities.

Dr. Jan Mindish Scholarship
$1,000 awards for students demonstrating academic success, service to school and community, and ability to successfully manage time between co-curricular activities and academic work; financial need to be considered.

Geist Family Citizenship Award
$500 awards given to model citizens who are a positive influence and always show empathy for others. Male and female winners will be selected by the high school staff.

Jack & Joanne Herr Scholarship
This is a $1,000 scholarship with a preference given to students who have been employed at John Herr’s Village Market; demonstrates academic excellence and genuine commitment to the Millersville community; suitable for those attending a tech/trade school; 2 or 4 year college; financial need considered.

Penn Manor Class of 2018 Scholarship
This is a $500 award for one student based on their contributions to the Penn Manor community.

Penn Manor Class of 2023 Scholarship
Two $500 awards for one male and one female in good academic standing and committed to the Penn Manor community.

Penn Manor Education Foundation Scholarship
These are $1,000 scholarships for students who demonstrate academic success, community spirit and contributions, and participation in school activities.

PMAA Legacy Scholarship
This is a two at $1,000 award for students whose parent(s) are Penn Manor graduates. Students should be in good academic standing and committed to school and community.

Rachel E. Miller Memorial Scholarship
$750 per year for up to four years for a student demonstrating a high level of achievement in both academics and athletics.

Agriculture Study Scholarship sponsored by Manor Township
This $1,250 scholarship is for a resident of Manor Township who is majoring in the field of Agriculture. Priority will be given to degrees in Agriculture or Agronomy Studies, Agribusiness, Bio renewable, Animal/Plant/Earth/Mineral Science.

August “Gus” Birchler Memorial Scholarship
$500 scholarship is intended for a Penn Manor FFA student who has worked hard to achieve success in the agriculture program. The recipient will be selected by the high school agriculture staff.

Star Rock Farms Foundation Scholarship
This is a $1,500 scholarship for a student pursuing the field of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Selection will be based on leadership in the community, church, school and agriculture programs.

Willis and Martha Family Scholarship
$500 award for a student majoring in agriculture or business, with consideration given to church/community involvement and leadership qualities.

 

PMEF Stem Scholarship Summaries 2026

Chris Shank Memorial Technology Scholarship
$1,000 award for a student pursuing a career in information technology. Priority will be given to applicants in communications technology.

Donald Pollock Scholarship
$5,000 scholarship for a student pursuing a career in math-oriented field, preference given to business/accounting major or those seeking a teaching career in math; strong academic success and community contribution; financial need is considered.

John R. Milliman Scholarship
$2,250 award for student planning to pursue a career in engineering or math-related field; demonstrates academic success, contribution to community and financial need.

Kim Wells Scholarship
$1,000 each to a male and female who have excelled in math and will pursue a career in a mathematics or science related field. Winners will be selected by the math department.

Lee “Todd” Amigh Memorial Scholarship
This $14,000 scholarship is for a student passionate about pursuing an education and career in environmental education at an accredited university. Previous coursework in environmental education and volunteer service related to the environment will be considered. Applications will be available through the Penn Manor High School Counseling Office.

Rintz Family Foundation Scholarship
Three $1,000 awards for students pursuing STEM-related field, preferably engineering or math.

Sean Moore Memorial Scholarship
$500 award for a student pursuing two- or four-year program, with priority given to STEM-related field and participation in Quiz Bowl and/or Model United Nations.
