Our Mission & Programs

Penn Manor Education Foundation is a nonprofit community-based organization dedicated to providing opportunities for Penn Manor students and securing a better community for everyone.

PMEF provides additional support for projects and/or activities that go beyond the scope of programming normally associated with public education. The foundation supports:

  • Scholarships for graduating seniors for post-secondary education and job training.
  • Venture Grants for innovative classroom programs and activities for which funding is not normally available through school district resources.
  • Strong Grants to help students and families experiencing financial, emotional or physical difficulties.
  • A cooperative relationship between the school district, business leaders and the community to advance the role of education in society.

Since 2000, PMEF has awarded over $1 million in Venture Grants and student scholarships.
