Jan Mindish: Jan Mindish was named executive director after serving from 2010 to 2016, plus a stint in 2017. She began her Penn Manor career in 1972 as an elementary art teacher and spent 37 years with the district as an art and photography teacher, assistant principal and high school principal, retiring in 2009 after 12 years. She was named Pennsylvania High School Principal of the Year in 2007. Jan is involved in several community organizations, including the Millersville Woman’s Club and the Demuth Foundation. She also teaches art classes in Penn Manor’s Twilight Program and recently organized four weeks of summer art camp at the Lancaster Museum of Art.Contact This Member
Matt Blank returns to the board for his second round after serving from from 2012 to 2018.
A 2000 graduate of Penn Manor High School, he works with his father at MBC Remodeling, and plays drums in several regional bands, including The Vivien Leigh Documentary.

Kathy Fish: A proud Penn Manor parent and grandparent, Kathy is director of endowment operations at Franklin & Marshall College, where she manages operational aspects of the college’s $300 million endowment. Her sons,Tom and Mike, graduated from PMHS in 1997 and ’99, respectively, and daughter Jennifer graduated with the Class of 2002. Two of Kathy’s grandchildren—Wes and Samantha—now attend Central Manor, and two more—Allie and Zach—will enroll in 2019.Contact This Member
Joseph Herman: Joe and Janice Herman have raised a daughter, Kathy, and a son, Brian, who are both Penn Manor graduates. Joe was a social studies teacher at Penn Manor High School for 39 1/2 years until retiring in 2015. He has been named both a Penn Manor Teacher of the Year and a WGAL Teacher Impact recipient. Besides teaching and coaching, Joe enjoys fishing, hunting, and going with Janice to their mountain retreat. Paula Howard: Paula was a school secretary for 30 years and in 2013 retired from her post as secretary to the superintendent and school board in Penn Manor. She and her husband, Donald, live in the Millersville area and are actively engaged in supporting their five grandchildren. She was raised in Rochester, New York, and attended Alfred State College. In addition to her support of the Penn Manor Education Foundation, Paula has volunteered for 13 years at Hospice and Community Care of Lancaster in various positions, including working in the Coping Kids program and supporting summer camp programs for children who have lost a loved one.Contact This Member
Robin Jeffers: Robin Jeffers, a 2000 graduate of Penn Manor High School, lives in Washington Boro with her husband, Joshua, and their two young children, Lily and Conner. The family enjoys traveling, camping and spending time together. Robin works as a substitute teacher in Penn Manor and is the daughter of former PMHS English teacher Carole Shellenberger. Robin says she believes in the educational opportunities Penn Manor provides for its students and is excited about serving on the Ed Foundation board.Contact This Member
Patrick Kline: Pat is definitely a Penn Manor guy. He is a Penn Manor alumnus (Class of 1982), is married to Laura (PM Class of 1984), and has two children, Erik (PM Class of 2010) and Cassie (PM Class of 2015). Pat has served as a member of the Penn Manor School Board as well as coached youth softball, baseball and basketball. He operates his own business in Quarryville, a State Farm Insurance Agency. Michael Leichliter: Mike is the Superintendent of Penn Manor Schools and serves as an ex officio member of the Foundation board. Mike holds a doctorate degree in educational leadership from Widener University. He lives in Millersville Borough with his wife, Mary Edith, and three children, all of whom attended Penn Manor schools. Rich Myers: Rich is a 1963 graduate of Penn Manor High School who attended Hambright Elementary School. He retired in December 2016 after a 35-year career in the U.S. Navy, including 20 years as a seagoing Naval Officer and 15 years as a Navy civilian at the Washington Navy Yard. An avid student of American history, he enjoys overseas travel and has been a grass roots volunteer/lobbyist on several state and federal issues. Nicki Nafziger: As a graduate and community member, Nicki willingly invests back into the Penn Manor community that has loved her family so well. A class of 2000 alumnus, Nicki, and her husband Jeremy, are raising two future PM alumni, children Isiac and Mackenzi in Millersville. Nicki is the president of Agape Care, Inc. and Jeremy owns B.N. Excavating. On PMEF, she is the co-chair of Strong & Healthy Families and the PMAA liaison. In addition, Nicki is a proud member of Sertoma, Club of Lancaster, The Lancaster Chamber, and Millersville Business Association.

Barbara St. John
Barbara St. John: Barb spent 29 years with Penn Manor as a teacher at elementary and middle schools, most recently at Eshleman Elementary, until retiring in 2015. A native of Lewistown, Barb lives in Millersville. Her daughter, Kelly, is a 2014 Penn Manor High School graduate who is earning her master’s degree in health promotion. Barb is excited to join the PMEF board to give back after having received several classroom Venture Grants over the years as a teacher.Contact This Member
Bradley Seiger: Brad is a third-generation Penn Manor graduate who lives in Millersville. He is the son of PMEF board president Tracy Seiger and former board member Tom Seiger. A 2018 graduate of West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Brad works at Clark Associates in Lancaster as an assistant vendor manager. Dianne Smith: Dianne Smith worked 34 years as Central Manor school secretary until retiring in 2016. She and her husband, Barry, are Penn Manor High School grads. They had three children, Kelly, Casey and Kevin, all of whom graduated from Penn Manor. Their seven grandchildren also graduated from, attend or will attend Penn Manor schools. The memory of their son, Kevin, who died tragically in a car accident, lives on in the Kevin B. Smith Memorial Award, granted each year to a deserving Penn Manor graduate.Contact This Member

Brian Wallace: Brian is community relations coordinator for Penn Manor School District. A former longtime newspaper reporter and part-time ESL teacher, he does publicity for the school district as well as the Education Foundation. Brian is the husband of Susan Wallace, who works in customer service for a Lancaster software company. They are the parents of five adult children, Jessica, Anne, Colleen, Jimmie and Owen.
