Penn Manor staff provide $19,000 boost to Foundation

Penn Manor employees have really come through in their support of PMEF this year!

A total of 245 staff members gave one-time donations or signed up for an automatic payroll deduction in support of our programs. The total amount raised – $19,210 – is a significant increase from the 2020 total of $17,445.

Donations came from every school, the district office and Penn Manor’s maintenance and building and grounds crews.

Anyone who donated more than $40 received a PMEF cooler bag, and donors of $80 or more also received a $10 gift card to Copper Hill Public House.

Two donors of $100 or more – Erika McLaughlin and Joy Meley  – also won a drawing for $50 gift cards to Bert’s Bottle Shop.

Many thanks to these local businesses for donating these incentives.

And a big thank you to our Penn Manor staff members for their continued support.

“Not all education foundations are so fortunate to benefit from this level of staff support,” said PMEF executive director Jan Mindish.

“PMEF is honored that we have the backing of Penn Manor staff. Knowing that many teachers continue spending their own money to support students in their classrooms makes it even more impressive.”
