Members of Class of 2021 receive $77,000 boost from scholarships

Thanks to our generous donors, Penn Manor Education Foundation was able to award more than $77,000 in scholarships to members of the Penn Manor Class of 2021.

In all, 57 separate awards went to 76 deserving recipients during a ceremony held in May inside the new Penn Manor High School auditorium.

Two new scholarships were awarded for 2021 — the Rankin & Gregory LLC Scholarship, awarded to a student based on academics and character; and the David L. Murray Memorial Scholarship, awarded based on work ethic, community service and extracurricular involvement.

This year, the scholarships were presented by PMEF board members due to COVID capacity restrictions. But next year, we hope to have our wonderful sponsors back with us to personally present their awards.
