This year’s Penn Manor Retiree Breakfast will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Penn Manor High School Cafeteria. All retirees should have received an invitation. It was great to see so many familiar faces at the Foundation’s 11th Annual Retiree Breakfast, held Tuesday, May 3, 2016, in the Penn Manor High School cafeteria.

Attendees enjoyed performances by the Manor Singers and Penn Manor Jazz Band and Small Ensemble — using instruments purchased with PMEF Venture Grants.

Students in Mindy Rottmund’s Advanced Foods Class prepared the delicious breakfast, which was served by the cafeteria staff. Table centerpieces were created by Diane Glock-Cornman’s Floriculture Class.

Presenters updated the crowd on Foundation programs and a new initiative, Strong & Healthy Families, which will provide assistance to economically disadvantaged Penn Manor students and families. More details on the program will be released in the coming months.
