Extra Give donors contribute more than $30,000 to PMEF
November 24, 2020 Thank you, Penn Manor community!
With the support of our generous community, PMEF raised more than $30,000 in 24 hours of online giving during the Extra Give. This will enable us to continue to fund teacher grants that promote innovative learning, support Penn Manor students and families in need, and provide scholarships for seniors.
Thanks to our business sponsor matches, we received an early $5,000 boost. Participating businesses included Agape Care, BN Excavating, The Seiger Team at Life Changes Realty, and State Farm agent Pat Kline. In addition, Mike DeBerdine and Rhoads Energy contributed $2,000.
Our board member fundraising champions raised nearly $11,000, with Pat Kline taking top honors by raising $3,610. Brad Seiger came in second with $2,195 in donations and Kathy Fish and Nicki Nafziger tied for third.
Our 176 Extra Give donors included current and retired PM staff, community and business donors, parents, and lots of Penn Manor alumni.
In a difficult year for fundraising, the Penn Manor community came through by doubling last year’s contributions. Many thanks!
