Ed Foundation awards more than $38,000 in fall teacher grants

Penn Manor Education Foundation has awarded more than $38,000 worth of Venture Grants to district teachers support innovative teaching during its fall 2023 funding cycle.

The grants are funding such projects as the Cardboard Regatta STEM challenge, visits to local colleges, artists in residence, cellos and musical instrument repair supplies, field trips, chicken incubators, composting supplies, and a weather station.

Here is a list of the grants.

More than 100 classrooms at all grade levels are impacted by these 39 grants, which totaled $38,689. Teachers are currently submitting proposals for the spring 2024 Venture Grant funding cycle.

We’d like to thank our dedicated staff for submitting these innovative ideas to enhance learning opportunities for all Penn Manor students.

PMEF is able to fund these grants through the generous support of the Penn Manor community.
