Annual dinner is canceled as PMEF fundraising shifts to Extra Give on Nov. 20
August 18, 2020 Penn Manor Education Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Dinner, scheduled for September 20, has been canceled for 2020. The PMEF board of directors based its decision on concerns for the health and safety of our participants, as it would have been difficult to maintain social distancing and mask-wearing at the event.
As a result of the loss of our largest fundraiser, PMEF is asking supporters who normally donate through the dinner to consider making a donation to PMEF during the Extraordinary Give event on November 20, 2020. The Extra Give is a one-day, 24-hour online giving event that benefits hundreds of nonprofit groups across the region.
More details will be posted about the Extra Give in the coming months.
