About PMEF

Providing opportunities for Penn Manor students,
securing a better community for everyone.

The Penn Manor Education Foundation is a nonprofit community-based organization dedicated to enhancing and enriching the educational experiences of the students and faculty of Penn Manor School District.

The district is committed to excellence and continuous improvement in its educational programs, and Penn Manor Education Foundation (PMEF) provides additional support for projects and/or activities that go beyond the scope of programming normally associated with public education. The foundation supports:

  • Scholarships for graduating seniors for post-secondary education.
  • Venture Grants for innovative classroom programs and activities for which funding is not normally available through school district resources.
  • A cooperative relationship between the school district, business leaders and the community to advance the role of education in society.

Since 2000, PMEF has awarded more than $650,000 in Venture Grants and $400,000 in student scholarships.
